Most children love cupcakes. Cans have always used standard-size cupcake when children are helping. Cupcakes are small molds that are too small for young hands to handle.
The easiest way to make cakes for younger children is to start with a cake mix box. This first recipe starts with a box of Devil's food cake mix. Make the dough according to box directions. This recipe has a tasty filling and easy for kids to do:
Combine eight ounces of softened cream cheese, one-third cup sugar and egg. Mix until blended. Then, mix six ounces of chocolate chips.
Line muffin tin with papers and fill each about a third full. Now put a spoonful of cream cheese mixture on top of the dough. Then fill the muffin the rest of the way, allowing some room for growth. Bake at 350 degrees for about twenty minutes. If you want to add Glitter, I always bought the already mixed glaze that children could only be extended on.
Use a cake mix and prepare the cupcakes according to package directions. Place paper liners in muffin tin. Fill each muffin tin about two thirds full and then turn to the mouth of the cone and place on top of the dough. Bake 18-20 minutes at 350 degrees. Test with a toothpick to make sure the cupcakes are done. After the cakes have cooled, remove the paper liner and frost. Add glaze ornaments, such as M & M's, skittles and either rainbow sprinkles or chocolate sprinkles.
